By accessing and using Week14 educational services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Week14 educational services ("Services") provided by Week14 Educational Services ("Week14", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing our website, enrolling in our programs, or using our services, you ("User", "Student", "Parent", or "you") agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Services
2.1 Educational Services
Week14 provides the following educational services:
- Help Me Study Program: 14-week comprehensive study methodology for students
- Help Me Read Program: Reading development program for ages 3-8
- IB Private Classes: International Baccalaureate curriculum support
- American System Classes: American curriculum with Into-Literature access
- SAT/ACT Preparation: Standardized test preparation programs
- Parent Courses: Educational guidance for parents
- Teacher Professional Development: Training programs for educators
2.2 Service Delivery
Services are delivered through various methods including but not limited to: online sessions, in-person meetings, digital learning platforms, assessment tools, and educational materials. Service delivery methods may vary based on program requirements and current circumstances.
2.3 Service Availability
We strive to provide uninterrupted service access, but we do not guarantee continuous availability. Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and throughout your use of our services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3.2 Appropriate Use
You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will not:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Interfere with or disrupt our services or servers
- Share account credentials with unauthorized persons
- Use our services for commercial purposes without written permission
- Reproduce, distribute, or modify our educational materials without authorization
- Engage in any behavior that disrupts the learning environment
3.3 Student Participation
Students are expected to actively participate in their educational programs, complete assignments, attend scheduled sessions, and follow program guidelines. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring student compliance with program requirements.
3.4 Communication
You agree to maintain respectful and professional communication with Week14 staff, instructors, and other participants. Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
4. Plans & Payment
4.1 Fees and Pricing
Service fees are clearly stated on our website and in program materials. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice. All fees are in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) for parents who live inside Egypt, and in USD for other countries.
Fees differ according to the following elements:
- Fixed/Flexible: Fixed plan is much cheaper. Most families go for it.
- Online/Offline: Online classes charge less than offline classes.
4.2 Plans
We provide two types of plans:
A. Fixed Plan (Best for long-term progress):- Commitment: Designed for parents who value structure and consistent academic growth over time.
- Payment: Fees are due every 4 weeks (not monthly) according to the agreed schedule.
- Holidays: Compensated holidays include Eid Al-Fitr, Eid Al-Adha, one week during the mid-year break, and the entire summer break. Any additional teacher time-off will also be compensated.
- Student Cancellation: If the student takes extra days off, make-up classes are not guaranteed but may be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
- No Commitment: Perfect for parents who prefer flexible scheduling.
- Every 4 Weeks: Fees are due every 4 weeks (not monthly), and the schedule is adjusted based on class attendance.
- Holidays: All teacher or student time-off will be fully compensated.
- Excessive Cancellations: Frequent cancellations may lead to a review of the plan or possible service termination.
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept various payment methods including bank transfers, InstaPay, and cash. Payment must be received before service commencement unless alternative arrangements are agreed upon in writing.
4.4 Refund Policy
Refund eligibility depends on the specific program and circumstances:
- No Refund: After confirming our scheduled classes and making the payment for customized services.
- Medical/Emergency: Special consideration for documented medical or family emergencies.
4.5 Late Payments
Late payment fees may apply for overdue accounts. Services may be suspended for accounts with outstanding balances exceeding 30 days.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1 Week14 Content
All content provided by Week14, including but not limited to educational materials, curricula, assessments, videos, texts, graphics, logos, and software, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This content is owned by Week14 or licensed from third parties.
5.2 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our educational materials solely for your personal educational purposes. This license does not permit:
- Commercial use or redistribution
- Modification or creation of derivative works
- Reverse engineering or decompilation
- Removal of copyright or proprietary notices
5.3 Third-Party Content
Some educational materials may include third-party content (such as Into-Literature curriculum). Use of such content is subject to the respective third-party terms and conditions.
5.4 User-Generated Content
Any content you submit or create during your use of our services (assignments, projects, feedback) remains your property, but you grant Week14 a license to use such content for educational and improvement purposes.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
6.1 Data Collection
We collect and process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such collection and processing in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
6.2 Educational Records
We maintain educational records including progress reports, assessments, and attendance records. These records are confidential and will only be shared with authorized personnel and as required by law.
6.3 Communication
By providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications from Week14 regarding your services, including educational updates, appointment reminders, and service-related notifications.
7. Limitations and Disclaimers
7.1 Educational Outcomes
While we strive to provide high-quality educational services, we cannot guarantee specific academic outcomes or results. Educational success depends on various factors including student effort, participation, and individual circumstances.
7.2 Service Limitations
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7.3 Liability Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Week14's total liability for any claims arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
7.4 Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or technical failures.
8. Termination
8.1 Termination by User
You may terminate your enrollment in our services at any time by providing written notice. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to our refund policy.
8.2 Termination by Week14
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business.
8.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use our services will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect, including intellectual property rights, liability limitations, and dispute resolution procedures.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved through:
- Direct Communication: Initial attempt to resolve disputes through direct communication
- Mediation: If direct communication fails, disputes may be submitted to mediation
- Legal Proceedings: As a last resort, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Egyptian courts
